Aurelijus Langvinis – Painter of a Fantastic World.

Aurelijus Langvinis is an artist living and creating in Lithuania, whose imagination transports viewers to otherworldly, yet deeply familiar, realms. Working with oil paints on canvas, Aurelijus delves into the fantasy genre, bringing to life fantastic landscapes and cities through his art.

The most important and recurring symbol in Aurelijus’ work is the giant tree. For him, trees represent protection and life. Why trees? They are a tribute to his grandfather, a gardener who planted countless trees. As a child, Aurelijus found peace and adventure among them—an experience that continues to profoundly shape his artistic expression and the fantastical worlds he develops.

Through his paintings, Aurelijus creates a fantasy world called “Life is Trees.” Each piece is not only a visual spectacle but also a part of a larger story that he consistently develops through his artwork. It is akin to concept art for a created world, but unlike the game or film industries, his ideas are realized not digitally, but traditionally, through oil painting.

After graduating in Interior Design from Vilnius College of Design, Aurelijus places special importance on the harmony between a painting and the space it occupies. He aims to create works that naturally integrate into interiors, enhancing and complementing their surroundings.

Aurelijus’ paintings have been acquired by collectors from Lithuania, Norway, across Europe, the United States, and Canada.
