Below are the rules for purchasing and selling artworks.

Our gallery's main goal is to help you find that one unique piece of art (or perhaps several) that you truly love and that fits your space - after all, this is an item that will beautify your home for a long time and will ultimately be passed down to future generations. Therefore, we always strive to make the painting purchase process pleasant and as flexible as possible from our side.

1. General Provisions

1.1. These rules for purchasing and selling artworks (hereinafter referred to as "Rules") establish the general conditions for purchasing goods on the electronic website www.paveikslai.lt (hereinafter referred to as "Paveikslai.lt").
1.2. The Paveikslai.lt website is managed and the goods are sold by ARTAREA, UAB, legal entity code 303215670 (hereinafter referred to as "Seller").
1.3. The Buyer is an individual who purchases artworks (hereinafter referred to as "Goods") from Paveikslai.lt. Only individuals of legal age and legal entities acting through their authorized representatives have the right to purchase Goods from Paveikslai.lt.
1.4. By registering or placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they meet the conditions specified in clause 1.3 and have the right to purchase on the Paveikslai.lt website.
1.5. Personal data refers to the Buyer's personal data that the Buyer voluntarily provides when registering and/or ordering Goods on the Paveikslai.lt website. Personal data also includes the history of Goods purchased by the Buyer, provided that such data is stored in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If the recipient of the Goods is a different person than the Buyer, the Buyer must ensure that the recipient's personal data is legitimate.
1.6. The Rules are the purchasing rules for this electronic website www.paveikslai.lt. They establish the mutual rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Buyer purchasing Goods from www.paveikslai.lt and the Seller when acquiring Goods on the website.
1.7. These Rules are a legally binding document for the parties, which establishes the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Buyer and Seller when the Buyer acquires Goods on the website www.paveikslai.lt. Only by agreeing to these Rules does the Buyer gain the right to purchase and enter into a Purchase Agreement.
1.8. The Seller reserves the right to change, amend, or supplement the Rules at any time, taking into account the requirements established by legal acts. The Rules applicable at the time of concluding the purchase-sale agreement will apply to the Buyer when acquiring Goods, so it is recommended that the Buyer familiarize themselves with the Rules each time they shop.

2. Acquisition of Goods

2.1. The Seller has the right to restrict the Buyer's use of the Paveikslai.lt store services or cancel the Buyer's registration without prior notice.
2.2. The Seller has the right to refuse to sell Goods to the Buyer without stating a reason, especially if the Buyer uses the Paveikslai.lt store in violation of these Rules, attempts to harm the stability and/or security of the Paveikslai.lt store's orders.
2.3 When the Buyer forms and submits an order for Goods on the Paveikslai.lt website www.paveikslai.lt, they must make the payment in accordance with the procedures and deadlines established in the Rules, and Paveikslai.lt will send a confirmation to the Buyer's specified email that their order has been accepted.
2.4. If you are an individual, you can purchase products from our platform only if you are at least 18 years old.
2.5. If you are purchasing on behalf of a legal entity, you confirm that you have full authority to do so. These rules represent the complete agreement between us and you regarding the purchase. You acknowledge that you do not rely on any statements made or given on our behalf that are not specified in these Rules.

3. Ordering Goods, Moment of Creation of Legal Relations of Purchase - Sale

3.1. The Buyer can order Goods from Paveikslai.lt by choosing one of the following methods: registering online on Paveikslai.lt (by entering their registration name and password); ordering online without registering on Paveikslai.lt; by phone; in physical galleries (stores).
3.2. When ordering Goods in the Paveikslai.lt system, the Buyer must provide the necessary personal data for the proper execution of the order in the information fields provided, which are processed by Paveikslai.lt in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
3.3. Orders placed by phone or in Stores are executed in accordance with the procedures established in the Rules and are subject to the provisions of the Privacy Policy. By placing an order, the Buyer agrees to the Rules and their application.
3.4. When the Buyer selects the item or service to purchase and forms a shopping cart, completing all order steps, the last of which is the selection and confirmation of the payment method, it is considered that a legal purchase-sale relationship has arisen between the Seller and the Buyer, and a purchase-sale agreement has been concluded. The Buyer is informed about the order confirmation by receiving a notification sent to the email specified by the Buyer.
3.5. All essential information about the product and its characteristics is provided in the product description by the Seller on Paveikslai.lt.
3.6. Each Buyer's order is stored in the Paveikslai.lt and Seller's database in accordance with their privacy policy.

4. Buyer's Rights

4.1. The Buyer has the right to purchase Goods and order services from Paveikslai.lt in accordance with these Rules.
4.2. The Buyer has the right to cancel the order in accordance with these Rules.
4.3. The Buyer has the right to cancel the Agreement in accordance with these Rules.
4.4. The Buyer has the right to exchange or return purchased Goods in accordance with these Rules.
4.5. The Buyer has other rights established in these Rules, the Privacy Policy, the Paveikslai.lt usage rules, and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

5. Buyer's Obligations

5.1. The Buyer, when using Paveikslai.lt, must fulfill their obligations, comply with these Rules, the Privacy Policy, the Paveikslai.lt usage rules, and other conditions clearly specified by Paveikslai.lt, and not violate the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
5.2. The Buyer must pay for the ordered Goods or services and accept them in accordance with these Rules. If choosing to pick up Goods from the Store, the Buyer must collect them from the chosen Store within the time limits specified in the Rules.

6. Delivery of Goods

6.1. Paveikslai.lt undertakes to deliver Goods to the Buyer within the timeframes specified in the product description. These timeframes are indicative, and the company indicates that delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. In such a situation, Paveikslai.lt will contact the Buyer to discuss new delivery conditions. If the new timeframes are unacceptable to the Buyer, they have the right to cancel the purchase agreement. In this case, Paveikslai.lt will refund the Buyer the full amount paid for the Goods and delivery within 14 working days to the specified bank account.
6.2. When ordering a product whose delivery is outside the European Union, the Buyer may be required to pay import duties, depending on the laws of the country. The responsibility for paying import duties lies with the Buyer. However, considering that in many countries artworks are not considered import objects, we recommend checking with the local customs office or contacting us for information, as we have shipped Goods to many countries worldwide and can advise.
6.3. Upon receiving the Goods, the Buyer must carefully check the packaging, quantity, and quality of the Goods before signing the delivery documents. If the Buyer finds defects or discrepancies with the order, they should refuse to accept the shipment and, together with the representative of the delivery service, fill out a shipment inspection report, noting the observed discrepancies. It is also necessary to inform Paveikslai.lt about this using the contact details provided on the website. If the Buyer confirms the delivery documents without comments, it is considered that the Goods have been delivered in an undamaged condition, and the quality and quantity correspond to the order and the terms of the contract.

7. Descriptions and Metrics of Goods (Artworks)

7.1. The data of the Goods sold on the Paveikslai.lt website is indicated in the description accompanying each product. If any part of the description does not match the actual parameters of the received artwork (for example, dimensions or technique), it is agreed to consider this a correction error.
7.2. Paveikslai.lt is not responsible for the fact that the color, shape, or other parameters of the Goods on the website may not correspond to the actual size, shape, and color of the Goods due to the monitor used or the quality of the photographs.

8. Exchange and Return of Goods

8.1. According to the LR retail trade rules, artworks cannot be returned without the Seller's (Paveikslai.lt) consent. However, if you have doubts within 30 days of purchasing the artwork, please contact us - we will accept the artwork back and refund your money or offer you to choose another from our art platform!
8.2. If a customer abuses the 30-day return conditions, Paveikslai.lt reserves the right not to sell Goods (artworks) to them or not to accept returns.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. These Rules are drawn up in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
9.2. The relationships arising from these Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
9.3. All disputes arising from the implementation of these Rules are resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes are resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
