In 1996 Gintaras Zubrys graduated from Vilnius Academy of Art, the speciality of paintings. To participate at exhibitions he started when he was a student. In 1995 his artworks were selected to the exhibition “1995: Lithuanina Art” at the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius. Entire period of studies he was an innovator, who did not avoid to swim against the stream, was looking for his way of life.
In 2014 began new creative period of the artist, when Gintaras began to go deep in the genre of still life.
