Aida Vėželienė is an artist whose paintings embody an abstract narrative and expressive style. She characterizes her creative journey as an easygoing, intuitive process, with lines that freely traverse in multiple directions. For Vėželienė, both stylization and color stem from her internal impulses—her emotions, feelings, and the quest for solutions. Each artwork is crafted through a deliberate artistic process, influenced by profound inner experiences, and is never left to chance, with every piece possessing a distinct beginning and end.

Instead of following strict logic or predetermined results, she pursues elements that transcend reason in her art. The artist is especially interested in nurturing genuine, irrational, and symbolic narratives, delving into the edge of the unknown. Painting, to Vėželienė, is akin to dancing, as she lets her inner world determine whether the mood of her artwork conveys joy or melancholy. Every piece she produces is a singular and intimate self-reflection, forming a bond between her own experiences and those of the viewer.

Born and raised in Vilnius, Lithuania, Aida Vėželienė completed her academic studies at Vytauto Didžiojo University, qualifying as an art educator. Driven by a desire to broaden her artistic horizons, she pursued further education in the stained glass specialty program at Vilnius Art Academy, where she sharpened her skills and enriched her artistic outlook.

Vėželienė is an active participant in group exhibitions and plein air gatherings, both within Lithuania and internationally. Her body of work features several solo exhibitions, each displaying her distinctive vision and enthusiasm for abstract, emotionally driven art. By sharing her creations, Vėželienė encourages viewers to encounter the singular fusion of intuition, emotion, and symbolism that forms the core of her artistic vision.
