Artist

The artist Laima Kriukelienė lives and works in Utena. In 1982, she graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute and acquired the specialty of an art teacher. Since 1996, she has been working as an art teacher at Utena Art College.

Creates wall and easel paintings, graphics, spatial compositions.

During more than 30 years of creative work, she has participated in more than 10 group exhibitions held in Utena, Zarasai, Vilnius, Kaunas, as well as in various Lithuanian museums and galleries, and has organized about 40 personal exhibitions.

Published books: Art Therapy (2009), From Symbolism to Symbolism (2009), From Still Life to Figurative Composition (2009). Laureate of the international exhibition "Angel and Bird" at the Utena Museum of Local Lore (2005).
