The artist Jonė Šlepetytė (1986) is a member of the young generation of painters, a representative of the abstraction movement.

The main direction of the artist is the retransmission of the energy and feeling of nature, historical events to the viewer by means of abstractions and the experience of searching for contemporary concepts. The viewer is drawn into the world of abstractions with soft, pulsating brushstrokes and subtle tonal gradations.

Various textures and silhouettes play harmoniously with the shadows in the picture plane, skillfully distracting and then returning the viewer to reality...

The painting conservation and restoration studios have given us a basic insight into the painting techniques of the old masters and the subtleties of classical painting. The experience gained led to studies in painting specialisation, during which the experience was gained from respected teachers, Arvydas Martinaitis, Romanas Vilkauskas and Ričards Garbačiauskas.

She actively participates in exhibitions and projects of various themes.
