Gerda spent her early childhood playing in fathers art studio and observing his work. As her interest in art grew, she was encouraged by parents to pursue education in arts, firstly, by attending Adomas Brakas Art school and later on Gray's School of Art (Robert Gordon University). Gerda's creative identity developed during her time in university. She uses her paintings and illustrations as a visual diary with a twist on reality. She uses colours, objects and animals to add subtle hidden meanings to her work.
Gerda's work has been showcased at New Designers 2019 in London, various art fairs in Lithuania, such as Sea Festival in Klaipėda and The Vilnius Capital Days.
