I was born in the countryside, surrounded by nature. This is the main source of inspiration in my work. Since childhood, I have sought to transfer its beauty, colors, lines on paper, and later on canvas. This has led to my favorite genres of still life and landscape.
I am a realist in my work, so the form of the depicted objects, their accuracy is especially important. Speaking of painters, I like to accurately count tree branches, grass stems, water waves ...
In my works I try to express the feeling, to convey the peace, the morning fog moisture, the warmth of the evening, the pleasant smell of bread. I try to be interesting for the viewer.
I organized twelve personal exhibitions in various Lithuanian cities.
Member of the Folk Artists' Union since 1990.
