I was born in a small and beautiful town, Anykščiai. Drawing and painting preserve me from an early age. It eventually grew into a desire to become a professional artist.
I am one of the few classical realism representatives of Lithuania. I believe that it is possible to harmonize the modern way of thinking and old techniques. Analyzing and studying the old masters I am teaching old techniques. I recognize that such authors like Peter Paul Rubens, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Pascal Dagnan-Bouveret, Emile Friant and others often become a source of inspiration. Following them, I want to promote and revive principles and ideas of classic realism school, which are a little bit forgotten in Lithuania.
